I had a bad suprise tonight. As I was cleaning out a closet, full of old shoes, something moved a few inches, and I smashed it with my finger. It left a small smear. That led me to believe it was organic, rather than a piece of lint.
Thanks for that comment, maybe it was the last survivor, a year ago, I was infested. Maybe it's lived, but too weak to feed, 20 feet away from me.
I beat them, by leaving my space, and turning the heat off, when the temperature went below 20 degrees on two occassions, for a few days.
Seeing that little bugger move, scared the hell out of me.
I don't want to go through that again. Everything in the closet, mostly old shoes, and new sheets, is in a bag.

What a fucking ordeal that was. I like your idea the bug was in a retirement home, and unable to get on the attack again.

start spraying alcohol everywhere - reg alcohol from the dollar store - i think that it takes a combination of methods to kill these things - i have tried expensive bedbug killer stuff ordered on line - it was 98% alcohol - i tried diatamacious earth - doesn't work - i threw everything out of the bedroom - and started all over - still seeing them -
we got them from our neighbor - and now he doesn't have them - which i do not understand - he said he mopped everyday with bleach and used those roach foggers for like a month straight - once a week - and no lie he doesn't have them

i haven't found anything that works - not even diatamacious earth which people swear by - i got a pray bottle and put alcohol in it - alcohol will KILL BEDBUGS on site - you have to actually see one and spray it on them - i have been spraying down the bed and floor every night - still seeing a few - my next plan is to steam clean the floors - we have hard wood floors and i guess bedbugs live in wood - they say heat over 120 degrees kills them - i am going to try with my tax check - in the mean time - i keep buying 1.00 alcohol at dollar store - i bought some stuff that said it worked - when i got it the ingredients was 998% alcohol - don't get ripped off like i did

hot shot bedbug & flea fogger cost about $9.99 a 3 pack and is supposed to cover 2000 ft per can. I've discovered bedbugs in my house and decided to try this product to get rid of the little blood-suckers. we moved all the matresses to optimise maximum exposure of all the matresses and dresser drawers clothing and such.
my house in CA. is 2043 sq feet so i bought enough fogger 9 cans whitch should treat 18,000 sq ft. I set them off as directed and left for 4 hours. upon returning to my home I was extremely disapointed to find out that the bedbugs did not seem to be affected at all .In fact it didn't appear to do anything at all to them. I dont know why they have bedbugs on the lable because I dont think this product killed a single bedbug. so dont disappoint yourself buying this junk, spend your money on something that works

I have bed mites. I can't get any sleep!!! I stripped bed of all linen yesterday & purchashed Hot Shot Bedbug & Flea Spray in Gallon jug. I vacummed bedroom thouroughly including mattress. I sprayed mattress a couple times. Washed all linen & stuck pillows in freezer. I got in bed last nite & after 3 hours I couldn't stand it anymore. Those mites are biting me everywhere. I'm now fogging bedroom with Hot Shot & Raid foggers. Doubt it will work. Any ideas???
